Post Your Home Cine & HiFi Kit...

Jesus Mr Latte, I'm going to copy what everyone else has said... wow! What an amazing looking room.

I hope my new room looks like that when I move house (garage conversion ;) :D)

Will hopefully get a nice stereo amp and a couple of seperate components this summer too :)

Ah, well appreciate the comments guys but best to save the thanks for the upcomming full guide thread. Ive bummed and blowed about it enough already but the proper thread will do it justice, give you all the answers and showcase it fully.

Ive decided/ bar anything serious like an accident etc this time to stick to a date for the thread. So for a final time after many changes and delays over a 2 year period I can finally say that "Latte's Loft" will be appearing here and only here on the 27th this month.

-----------------------------

Please give your vote in my "TELL ME" thread within the "Home Cinema" postings.
Would appreciate some feedback before work commences for the thread.

Thought I would post some pics of my current setup (yep, changed it around again).

Hopefully, this should only be for a couple more months, and then I'll get my good desk back (in a much bigger room) :D

Excuse the mess btw :(

Countdown Initiated...

What are these floating screens about? The 2 LCDS, are they the same LCDS that are behind the projector? Or are they seperate LCDS which you can use whilst sat on (what I presume is) a sofa?

Hope you can clear it up, just a bit confused atm:p

Yes its the same monitors.

When used at the desk its just a dual 19" TFT setup.

Moving to the coffee table can allow:
1) Just the PJ as the primary display for Consoles/Satellite/DVD/PC

2) A 3-way monitor configuration via a single PC with the PJ as primary monitor and the dual 19" TFT as monitor 2 and 3

3) A mix of both PC and AV or Consoles which is also ideal for console lan parties.

4X B&W 601
1X B&W LCR 60
REL Q150 MKII
Pioneer DV565
Marantz CD5400
Panasonic PS12 100Hz flatscreen tv
Soundstyle stands
QED Silver Anniversary Bi-Wire for three fronts, and micro for the rears

What can i say, its awsome. whether its a casual MP3 pipep to its USB port on the amp, or a 192KHz mastered DVD-A it sounds incredible! The amp is THX certified and was tuned at air studios. For films, well it makes the room shake but at the same time keeping the soundfield crisp and tight. Fortunatly I worked for the company that i got it all from so not only did i get it all at trade :D:D:D but tested it in proper demonstration rooms. The bill (at retail) would have come to just over £4K so not cheap but my god is it worth it. i dont see me replacing anything (unless it breaks :() in the next 5 years atleast.
