Nice systems guys, Mines a:

Panasonic TX-32LXD60 32" HD Ready Viera LCD TV with Integrated Freeview hooked up to my pc with
creative Gigaworks S750 7.1 surround sound.

You can't see the other speakers, but you can make out the sub at the bottom right.

I've also got a panasonic DVD recorder but haven't unpacked it yet, probably should get round to it soon :)

Bought HD TV on weekend.....

Toshiba Regza 32"
Had to have a 360 also to go with the TV so bought one last night, and a optical cable also to hook it up to my 6.1 system :D

All in all, well impressed with the TV! Picture is excellent! Xbox looks amazing running in 720p. Comes with Freeview also which is nice. Really tempted to get Sky HD but just can't justify spending 400 quid on the HD box, then pay extra for the service! Hopefully freeview should get through till Sky reduce the price a bit.

My new HiFi:

newhifi1.jpg

Top > Bottom:

Sony TC-KB820S QS Cassette Deck
Sony MDS-JB920 QS Minidisc Deck
Technics SL-PS900 CD-Player
Sony ST-S570ES Tuner
Sony TA-F808ES Amplifier
LEC Fridge / HiFi stand... *sigh* I really need more than 1 room :p

CD Player will be getting changed for a CDP-X707ES when I can source one for a reasonable price.

Currently running my old Technics SB-FW12 Bookshelfs speakers which are seriously lacking the sound quality of what this set up can do lol, but they'll do for now.

Also have a set of custom built floorstanding/PA Speakers but cant really use them due to a small room and whiney neighbours :p

Currently looking for some suitable speakers but cant decide wether to get some floorstanders or try and source some decent bookshelfs.
(with current accomodation bookshelfs would be 1st choice as I have naff all floor space :()

I am in the middle of building a 2ch setup again.

This is what I have so far.

Burmester 001 cdp, Mark Levinson no 31 transport+30.5 dac and a melos sha gold pre amp.

I haven't decided on power amplification or speakers yet.

I will try an get some pics up soon.

I use them with my headphone system. The melos pre amp has a headphone out. So I use a set of Grado Rs-1's and Audio technica w11jpns with them. I also have a stax 007t which drives my Senn He90's that I have lent out to a friend.

Here's an old pic of my setup.

Some lovely gear in this thread so thought I'd add mine.

hifi.jpg

Thorens TD160B Mk2 Turntable heavily modded - Solid base, damped throughout, Cardas rewire. Soon to get the arm polished and Michell Technoweight.

NAD C521 BEE CD player - What can I say I like it, and being an old vinyl chap its all I need.

Naim NAC112x/NAP 150x - Cracking amp with usual Naim build and sound quality.

Mission M33 speakers - Next on the upgrade list........ to what I have no idea

Hopefully upgrade the phono stage at some point in the not too distant future, its not easy getting demo's of phono stages these days so might have to make it a weekend away job.

I don't know what the  is for. You try issuing voice commands when playing BF2, I call out commands but the team doesn't listen :)
You are aware that he's ' ing' at a pair of headphones + iPod and not a microphone?

Just moved into my new uni house, current setup. Anyone recommend some decent stands for the speakers?

There are some Gale ones that RS do that are cheap, and pretty good. :)

Cheers dude ill check em out the Gale T50 seem pretty good 2foot stand for £30 -_- a pair

Lol you gotta have something nice to play xbox360 on and nothing says that like a 50" HDtv :D. Saving up for surround sound now, gonna take a long time lol

Some very nice kit in here. Mine's a budget system but it's all I could afford and it is obviously miles better than a regular CD player. I use the Logitech speakers for Xbox 360 and PC and the Wharfdale and NAD kit for music CD's only.
