New TV, same as woppy had.

Seem to have resolved the juddering on it simply by putting it into game mode, i watched a football match last night and the motion was very smooth on it, smoother even than my old LG plasma that replaced.

I can put up with judder on tv shows, if movies and football is smooth ill keep it, ill test more over the weekend before deciding. Feel i should have gone bigger though so it may go back.

off topic, where's the wallpaper from? Looks nice!

All setup in new house, floor standers can breath at last:)

Try the base facing the wall with a relative big gap of course. I found boom comes from the open space and wooden floor. Is yours carpet?

Amazingly i'd planned to make one identical to it using exactly the same materials. Maybe i'd just seen yours without realising.

Do you remember your total cost, and where you sourced the threaded bars? :D (Oh, and what size ar ethey? like M16?)

Edit: Nevermind! i found your AVForums thread! Awesome read :) Good info about it being too tall, I might shorten mine in that case.

Finally replaced my old TV unit with some nice Oak furniture. It's only taken 7 years but re-wiring everything back in was a nightmare. Was so impressed with the quality we re-did the whole lounge in Oak.

Looks great MOOGLEYS. May I ask where from please?

We are looking to do the same, just splurged out before Xmas on an oak dining set so just saving back up. Living room furniture is next.

Mine is the Cotswold Rustic stuff. It's solid oak and nice and chunky as well. We have re-done the complete lounge after only planning to do the TV unit :)

I think you quoted me by mistake! BUT!

I've been looking around and because i only need 3-4 shelves, I'm going to use some chopping boards. IKEA do some decent cheap ones that when stained should look nice. £4-£8 per shelf depending on which one you go for.
