Post Your Home Cine & HiFi Kit...

I'm only using the basic handheld remote with the dimmers and a few plug-in modules, but It's excellent. But then it's about the only decent solution which doesn't cost a complete fortune.

Thanks. Just ordered the WiFi connector box and a few switches. Will see how I get on.

Seems a LOT better value than buying smart bulbs.

Well I have the new stand on the BDI OLA. I've started putting my bits and bobs into it. The quality, craftsmanship, layout and design are vastly superior to any other stand I've tried. So much thought has gone into everything. I've ordered a load of cable tidy and a longer interconnect so I'll finish it all off on Sunday with some luck!

I took some updated photos of my system in it's (and our) new home. It's got a decent space to breathe now, and it sounds fantastic.

Equipment:

Kef Reference 3.2 mains
Kef R200C centre
Monitor Audio Bronze B2 rears (soon to be upgrading them to some Kef Q100 or Q300s I think)
BK Monolith sub
Audiolab 8200DQ preamp
Meridian 557 power amp
Onkyo TX-SR705 receiver
Squeezebox Touch
YouView box
Raspberry Pi for Kodi (out of sight)
Apple TV 4
Panasonic TX-L50E6B 50" LED LCD

The light in the alcove is a Philips LivingColours remote controlled RGB LED, and I'm using LightwaveRF components to remotely control everything else in the room, with Megaman dimmable LEDs in the ceiling lights and an Ikea Hektor lamp with 'vintage style' LED bulb.

Excuse the colour of the carpet and the general unfinished state of the room - we're awaiting our new sofa and a couple of other small bits of furniture.

Does the SBT stream Tidal?

Here's my setup since moving into my first home:

It's amazing the difference in sound since letting everything have a bit more space to breathe!

Cable management is pretty tricky with the current AV unit, but given the constraints on space I don't think I have much room for anything bigger.

By the way, this is mine with the BDI cabinet in. I want to move the plug sockets and I fancy getting some ornaments on top of it.

Not the best pic, but you get the idea.
