Saw that Samsung 65JS9000 in the shops, couldn't believe they cheaped out on the stand an made it out of plastic for the top end model.

It used to be metal on the F8000 range. Sigh/

I had noticed that, used to have a F8000 too. Seeing as the 65" does weigh significantly more, the stand does seem quite flimsy, but hopefully it's up to the task!

I couldn't have that set up and sit on the sofa directly in front of the tv with the door directly behind. I'd be paranoid that someone's going to come up behind me all the time.

There are quite a few establishments which can help you with that paranoia... some drugs too.

Got a new stand for my Hifi from Ebay, couldn't believe how heavy it is. Much better than the big blue metal thing I had. Just need sort my cables out now
