How have you got them connected to the TV? I've got my Z5500's connected to my DVD player/freeview via Coax, 10 meter coax, but the 1 meter sounded the same, and on like TV channels the sound is all muffled and crap bass, but I switch to the radio stations and it's fine :confused:, DVD Player is what has the coax, then I connect freeview to the DVD via scart.

Nah we're moving house soon so no point, the XBox is connected by optical, we don't use the TV for TV watching so it isn't connected.

i just got them speakers a week ago, got them hooked upto my pc and 360 via optical.

i like the effect option switching from music to movie, can really tell the difference when listening to music or watching a film/tv show.

and playing games like GRAW2 on 360 is sweet heating shots wiz past u :p

also hooked up my Zune MP3 player to check out quality of the single 3.5mm port and it sounded quite nice.

things r loud as hell.

im tempted to wall mount 2 of them but they look alright where they are.

only 1 thing that bothers me a little is the masive subwoofer. but it does pack a boom when something blows up in a game :p

First let us morn over the best CRT I ever owned. I bought her for £600 when everyone was buying the Samsung LCDs. I managed to grab one of the last ones at the time. However after one week the tube went (might of been my sub lol) and.. well you can see what I replaced it with.

Going slightly oldschool here with my kit! Had it for several years and never seen any reason to upgrade! :)

Top - Yamaha AX1

Middle left - Cyrus CD7Q

Middle right - Cyrus PSX-R regulated supply (plugged into power amp)

Bottom - Cyrus Smartpower power amp (Sony's 10th anniversary flagship minidisc player to it's left)

How are the B&W's ? Do they look big in real life ? Looking at getting some.

Yeah they are quite big, quite a bit bigger than the samller 601's in all ways (hieght depth etc). With them on the stands pictured they are about 4-4.5ft tall.

Produce a nice big sound though to match. :)

dude where did you find that stand!? been after stands with glass but way to expensive! thats cheap as chips!
