let me know what u think

System consists of...
Sony 40v4000
HUMAX freesat HD box
OC'd 4800 X2 AMD 939, DFI lanparty mlb, 2Gb ram, Nvidia 8800gtx 512, 2x WD Raptor on raid0
StereoLink USB DAC
Yamaha RX-V1000 Amp
B&W DM601 speakers
PS3

You spent all that money and you forgot to get a good desk.

That's some seriously nice kit you've got there, still seems odd that people still buy stand alone CD players these days though (in the days of media centres)

How much did it set you back?

Its a Naim CDX2, I bought it second hand from Cymbiosis for 1600 squid (new they are just over 3k). I'm not really interested in the AV side of things and all my music is on CD so I wouldn't really want a media centre or htpc. I considered a Transporter and would have been interested in a HDX if I had the cash, but this should do the job for a while.

Do Naim have a 5.1 AV receiver solution? Never been really happy with my Cambridge Audio one so am on the look out of a new one. Ideally am after one that does sound over HDMI, couldn't find anything on their website....

Finishing off my Kuro order tomorrow....... I had to find some extra cash (decided to upgrade from the 500M to the 600M lol weeeeeeeeeee!)

FaceOff - seeing the info on the front of your 906 just reminded me - i'm going to have to play around to see what listening mode I like best for stereo sources and upmixing 5.1 tracks to 7.1 (soooo many choices!) :D

I will be replacing the TV a bit closer to Xmas, OCdude this is the 905 :( just missed the 906, your right there are too many settings on these amps i tend to stick to THX for movies and all channels for music :)

You will have all the audiophiles shouting NOOOOOOO using all channel stereo, even though it does sound better on my system too than 2 channel stereo.:D
