Omg, Lay-z-boy's laptop is BEAUTIFUL!!! :eek:

I feel a bit n00bish if I posted mine, it's not hardcore

but it's my very first one for what it's worth and it's all I want for now with how I use it and what I use it for

Hmm mines brand new.

Specs:
Dual-Core T2130 1.86 GHz
60gb HDD (I know its low.. Will get a bigger one soon)
512MB Ram (Again Its low.. Will upgrade to 2 gb soon)
Intel GMA 900
Had vista when I got it, But installed XP instead.

I refuse to put a pic of my Tosh Tecra M3 up lol.... all i have at the mo, but it plays EVE and has wireless built in.. what more could you wish for

No but it gets attention from people on forums and in RL,

Pretty trivial if you ask me but then again theres 2gb of ram and I only use the notebook for browsing the web,etc

Some people will get annoyed with pretty soon

i suck at Linux i had it for 2 weeks before i put xp on the only thing i managed to do under Linux was get advanced desktop and change the wallpaper

with xp its just so much more than an it could ever be with linux

why do you think asus gave you instructions to install xp? Apart from the Linux noob aspect
xp, windows in general is much more the norm where computing is concerned
