It would be cool but alas, it's not (not in the free version anyway). You do see city lights comes round the corner as each area of the globe comes into the sun's view again, but nothing is real-time unfortunately. Fairly hi-res images though, even on the free one.

Have hidden the notification bar as well now (double tap to toggle it on/of), quite liking it tbh, much cleaner looking :)
