He played quite well although he's going to have to play incredibly well this season for me to change my opinion of him.
Overweight and ginger? He offers us something different to what we have though.
I thought Henderson was a box to box player and seen as the natural successor to Gerrard? With Lucas predominantly being the most defensive of our CM's and the days of Gerrard bursting in the box becoming few and far between, Adam will provide us with that drive from midfield that we wouldn't otherwise have.
First half today certainly highlighted why we need width, Carroll doesn't offer much with out it. Hopefully the fullbacks and Downing will give him that.Lucas, Gerrard, Adam, Aquilani, Spearing, Henderson, Maxi, Downing, Kuyt, Suarez, Carroll and Ngog

If we could add another genuine wide player to that, the balance would be perfect.
I concur with that, I'd quite like to see us take a pop for Adam Johnson for the right wing and develop him up.
The way City handled the Bellamy wanting out situation suggests we have no chance of them dealing with us.
He's said to have a very questionable attitude which I can't see fitting in well with what we're trying to build. I suspect it's the same reason we didn't look at N'Zogbia either.
Injury time goal for Kaizer Chiefs crashes Spurs.

I still can't get my head around that Bentley and Keane are still in squad :/
Notable absentee anyone?
Is there any reason why Modric wasn't in the squad?
