You can't honestly have expected otherwise. It's tradition that we are beat on the opening day.

i believe before yesterday we had only ever won once on the opening day of the premier league

They want to provide the best service possible though and by having the top 4's games as the featured games then that will keep more viewers happy than showing Spurs, Boro etc.

i bet the total viewers would vary very little depending on the order of viewing so it would make sense and be fair to give the smaller teams a longer showing every so often, hence by showing games based on how good they were and not by how big the teams in it were it would be a lot better.

The MoTD editor is a boro fan as well so he should be putting us on first everyweek
