Premier League Fixtures - 22/23/24th August (Spoilers)

Walcott just isn't a winger. I wish Wenger would stop playing him there for the sake of development and play him upfront where he's looked a much better player.

Using an important position in our team to 'train' up a player is ridiculous. Wenger is taking this whole youth and development thing a little too far.

Who else plays there? Thats fit?

All the English players that played midweek have been pretty awful this weekend. Gerrard and Barry yesterday and Terry, both Coles, Lampard and Heskey today. Wonder how well the United and Portsmouth players will fair tomorrow?

Well I wasn't expecting us to have an easy game at Wigan and looks like they've worked hard so far. Hopefully we can get the second to provide some insurance as Im a little worried with the 1-0 scoreline atm, Wigan have a knack of scoring late goals against us.

As in, you know that once they score thats usually that. Nine times out of ten Chelsea are happy with a 1-0 which is fair enough but it gets frustrating to watch at times as a United fan. It'd be good if Chelsea risked going for the second goal to make it more interesting because as well as Wigan are playing we all know they won't score :(

We are struggling to get the ball atm, evident of the fact Wigan are pushing hard not that we haven't tried to score a second, but Wigan have closed well and the majority of our passing has been poor.

Edit: Cashley going off injured bridge on. Looks like a hamstring strain.

What a Save!, But what the hell did all the players stop when they thought it was handball, ffs get on with the game, that chance stemmed from complete belief that they were right

Edit:

Full Time

Well played wigan, we looked underpar today, reality check for scolari as this isn't going to be as easy as last week.

Well, Wigan were unlucky I must say. I thought they played the best football. Chelsea were very poor I must say.

I thought Zaki looks promising, Palacios was very good but Bramble was outstanding... and I never thought I'd say that.

For Chelsea only Ballack really stood out for me.

To be fair he'd probably do a better job than Keane would along side Torres!

Why do you hate him? He hasn't exactly got a bad rep with anyone?

Thankfully Benitez didn't agree with you.

As for not liking him; he's a cheat and i thought that before he joined Boro, what he done at Anfield last season just confirmed it.
