There were plenty of Arsenal fans who wanted him out at the start of this season.

He had more votes than that but people have obviously changed theirs now.

Yeah, its a bit like winning the lottery and then claiming that playing it for the last 20 years was a master stroke of planning and execution. There was almost zero indication before this season that Arsenal would be anything but average again this season.

I don't really understand the finance issues with Leicester
You've won stuff recently and sold players for big money :s

After we won the title and made record profits, our wages skyrocketed, we have in recent years had a very high wage to turnover ratio.

The actual losses are largely down to infrastructure though. We will see I guess what the accounts look like next year with the fofana money and training ground costs dealt with, although that ground will of course now have running costs.

No one mentioned anything about us being a top 5 club, not sure where you got that assumption from?

Everton signed Ancelotti, why can't Leicester sign another big name until the end of the season.

No one wants Rafa or Pearson. I'd be just as happy with Carrick if Poch wasn't interested.
I get it from foxes talk.

As an example I suggested dyche as its clear we need a manager who needs to put grit back into our team and teach the players the basics again, but apparently we above managers like dyche now.

Right now we need an impact manager who knows how to play dirty, direct, and can work with limited money. Poch is totally the wrong kind of manager for that, I also believe Potter wouldnt work either.

Everton who have won several titles, have a bigger stadium and are a more established top tier club signed Ancelotti and then he left them very quickly It was an exception not the norm for them.

If you really are trying to prove to me, you not one of these star gazing fans, why the obsession with a big name manager?

Also the LCFC job is horrible, its a big chance to get a relegation on your CV this season, little money to spend, and the best players are winding down their contracts, vardy sadly is a bit part player now. If we got rid of Rodgers before the WC break, it would have been more attractive. Any manager with a half decent reputation would be nuts to come to us, I believe potter according to talksport said no right away.

Sounds like Cooper is about to be pushed. They've just publicly backed the manager. Thats steps 1,2 and 3 of sacking your manager. Step 4 is to actually sack them.

Not if they have already backed him and given him a 5 year deal during an even worse period.

Hope Chelsea finish the season strong. Get ECL and Lamps gets the job full time. Club legend coming home again. Written in the stars.

Interim only until the end of the season but he'll end up getting a bounce, lifting them a few places and being given a contract before capitulating next season.
