It would simply not be the TdF without Voeckler spending 2 hours on the front pulling faces because he got annoyed at the bunch and decided to bridge the 5 mins to the solo man breakaway by himself.

I badly miss the voices of Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen. They were THE voices of le tour. Shame they signed a deal with American tv. I like Boulting and Millar but its just not the same.

It's the other way round ITV ditched them. They do a generic commentary that ITV used to pick up but decided to replace it with there own team this year. Good to see ITV investing but not a fan of the new team the chemistry isn't great and on a long dull stage like today you need that!

That's the only thing about pro bike racing that annoys me a bit. I know it has to happen and that sponsorship is key but I do get confused about which team is which every single year!

I wish you could watch the stages with just the actual noise of the race. Kirby is awful, Boulting is dull and Millar is the **** that wouldn't flush. The sound of tyres on tarmac is infinitely more enjoyable...

Is winning individual stages more important than having the best individual time at the end of the tour?

I'm glad to see C. Froome in 5th but the 21" gap isn't easy to break down while in the peleton?

Guessing you are on ITV? I watch using the Eurosport Player, which is around a fiver a month. You can get the option for multicam and one of the main cameras doesn't cut to breaks and also has no commentary.
