Did anyone watch the Sub7Sub8 triathlon coverage?

Joe Skipper's pace team on the bike leg included Alex Dowsett, Dan Bigham, both of the Tanfields and John Archibald (stacked!). Dowsett has put the ride on Strava.

180km at an average of 55.2km/h and 311w!

Yes was perfect UK weather to watch it while trainer road destroyed me.

The whole thing was setup to get the best chances of sub 8 for the woman and sub 7 for the men. It was great format with everyone giving their all. Credit to skipper as well as he was last minute stand in (well a week) average of 55kmh for a 100miles is some going and at places they was in the 65-70 zone.

Great format and would love to see more of it.

Any recommendations on at site to keep up with the latest race results/news?

I was happy enough with cyclingnews, bit then they started charging a fee, just like cyclingweekly.

Really hope Geraint Thomas' form is a bit of a pre cursor to a good showing at the Tour! Certainly looked a lot more consistent this year and that TT behind Evenepoel shows he's back to a bit more of form than the last 18 months.

What a win from Cav yesterday and Towers on Saturday and then the news about QS team today. I know it's been Jakobsen as the primary for so long, but I can't see him getting more than 1 stage and he's too big to get over the mountains, he'll be lucky to get to paris let alone have a shot at green.

It's a real shame Cav won't get a run in the tour. But it's just Lefevre being Lefevre.

Mind you, one positive covid test and he's surely got another chance.

I'd love to see him win one more stage,

Lot going on at Bahrain, wonder what will come of it. Press highlighting the middle east involvement in their questions soon got shut down.

Most of the big riders off in the middle of the pack today, going to be a tight battle for that yellow Jersey Ganna obviously the favourite but I wonder if its not quite a long enough one for him to put out his massive power.
