Neutralised yet again.... Sky attacked off front as they de-neutralised and now they are neutralising again. What the heck?
 
That crash was insane, then a second straight after!

Poor fella looks to have taken a heavy hit to the face, im not surprised he fell in the middle of the pack and took about 20 others out.

Infact, the guy who took the heavy hit wasnt the first to go down.

Rule check confirms what youre saying.

He may get away with it due to the fact its trash in the cassette and not actual mechanical help in the sense that it isnt a repair.

I understand the race has been stopped, but not abandonded?

If theres another crash then the docs and medics will be extremely stretched, safety reasons i suppose?

Safety as 2 big crashes back to back but it was more so to allow riders to get back on the bunch as so many riders were involved.

When they neutralised for the first minute and then let them go I think the organisers thought nobody would be harsh enough to attack off the front, and Sky did.... so they neutralised again and stopped.

No matter what they done there regards stopping/neutralising it would always appear to be a shambles as so many riders/cars and information aint exactly easy to get out! But think they have done a good and fair job here and back underway now.

Yeah i heard they were waiting for riders to get back before resuming the race.

Just heard a rider had his arm popped back into its socket by the team and hes back racing, thats commitment!

Theyve done a tremendous job with this i think! Shame about the three retirements.
 
Boom, Rodriguez. I nearly said in my post earlier that it would be a Spaniard, but I didn't want to rule out Quintana who I thought might have been in with a shout!
