Fifa demo did get pwned IMO, and nothing you can say or Bingham can say will change that, so why do you try?

Another demo and more complaints about the download speeds

Gold members should get faster servers or something but I'm not going to talk about that now.

Seems like the new demo is like PES4 from what I've read on other forums, it's supposed to be fast and there are slowdowns at cut scenes which are really bad.

However, I'm sure the slowdowns will be optimized and I can't wait to play the demo as I loved PES4 apart from the lobs. Everyone moans about it being so fast it's not realistic, but when it's faster it's more fun

I have played PES since early days (and played Winning Eleven) its a great game but to this day it still remains the same core game but tweaked hell of a lot. Years have gone on and you notice the fundamental flaws that you never properly noticed for 6 years coming ever more apparent. I dont knock PES is does a lot of good stuff well but for me Fifa has been gradually progressing and Fifa 08 is shaping up really nice. PES will always have its tinted glasses followers who will be quick to dismiss Fifa because a game now threatening Konami crown. Everyone like the game they like i have no problems with that but i feel people unfairly criticize Fifa without never putting a lot of hours into it. PES has always had arcade feel imo why i think its grips people instantly its what i see for me both games are not perfect and thats why i shall have both.

Im yet to play PES 2008 but im not expecting big things from what i hear about time Konami got rid of there engine like EA have done with current gen its to old now.

I would agree the pace is closer to PES4 and that was a great game in its own right.

Im sorry, i cant take anyone seriously that uses the word "pwned". Im assuming your a teenager, in which case it was wrong of me to offer a suggestion that you may not be correct.

My 2 mates and I had a rather unhealthy obsession with PES4 in our college days, we'd play from about 1pm until 4am 3 or more days a week. Happy times indeed.

Pro Evo 2 was arcade, that's it all the rest have been way more realistic to the game of football than any Fifa game has come close too. Fifa 08 is better than 07 not a hard thing to do, but it's still not football, they just don't understand it and I doubt they ever will. Pro Evo 08 has the pace just about right, unlike Fifa that felt sluggish and the passing was just terrible no pace on the ball at all, felt like as said playing in mud or quicksand.

Pro Evo is not perfect but it offers much more freedom to play the game how you want and not so forced on you like Fifa.

I disagree on last comment your not forced to play a way in Fifa you obviously have not learnt game if you feel that way. I understand sluggishness but this is something that will eventually be right then what your like it ? rest of game is fine to me.

You enjoy your game im not going to argue anymore because there really is no point.

Official reviews should be out soon for both games, Fifa has never bettered PES, it will be interesting to see if the so called experts still believe that stays the same.

It will certainly be interesting to see how close FIFA gets with the reviews this year.

For me the last 2 versions of Pro Evo have been weak, 2008 makes it last 3. I think most would concede at least that 6 was pretty poor, the question is how long can Pro Evo get an easy ride off the back of previous versions?
