Remember that they are both demo's. PES 2008 still have over amonth until release. Maybe this poor feedback will make Konami make a few last changes.

I would say reserve final judgement for the release versions.
 
Can't see the game improving significantly between now and release.

The only thing that would make me buy this now is exceptional reviews for the PS3 version.

Looking through the menu's once you select your team they look to have sharpened up the strategy menu's. Hopefully this time you can quick load set ups from the hard drive?

Also hopefully you play your master league team online against friends.

Which annoyances have they cleared up for you?

The thing I like most about this demo is the players can actually turn with the ball. In the last one it seemed like they turned purely 90 degress in stages.

I dont know if you use the tight control trigger but thats far better than it was.

Its of concern to me that some people are getting pausing and some are not. That could suggest it's 360 related even though both of mine do it.

I'd hate to buy the full game and have that issue.
 
No pausing or slow down here. I absoloutely love it.

It's PES6 with better graphics to me, the shooting seems better though.

Only played 1 game so that's my first thoughts.
 
I think the graphics are a definate improvent over 6 but they are still not up to the same standard as Fifa. Although I prefer the movement of the models in Pro evo, looks much more realistic. Plus it looks like the player actually kicks the ball now rather then moves the air around the ball. Fifa still has not got this right.

Everything just looks sharper, colors, text, everything just looks next gen.

I will definately get Pro evo. I just plain prefer playing it, and have alaway found it easy to go back to after leaving it a while. Fifa I never go back to once I have stoipped playing it.

The only thing that will make me get Fifa is the online play like a Pro mode. If it works it will be fantastic.

I doubt that will change.

Most reviewers don't give accurate reviews, follow the generic 'THIS GAMES AWESOME' rule for big games and anything that is actually very good that slips under the radar gets 6/10 or something :rolleyes:

Depends how much money PES/FIFA are giving the reviewers too I suppose :p
 
I just got a penalty with france and it ran at about 10 FPS. Much like when you used to have the problem in the last one with goal kicks.

Weird that its only happening to some people.

I've noticed one problem with the CPU AI regards playing the ball out from your own defense. I wont say anything to see if anyone else notices it.
 
ffs, now I have to unpack my 360 and download it, moving back to Uni with no internet until Tuesday so this better download in time :eek:
