Yes, the PS4 version has comparatively better visuals, hence the controversy. Even the Steam store page shows PS4 screenshots, which is false advertising.
 
I've owned the PS4 version but sold it already. Long time pes player but hated the online. Just a goal fest with an average of 6 goals per game. Really disappointed.

I might try FIFA on PC instead.
 
Memphis Depay is a beast in this his stats just keep going up and up. In the space of ~10 games he's went from 85 OPR to 89, after every single match the message pops up saying he's 'improving dramatically' along with a list of various stats that just went up.

Edit - LOL, went to check twitter for news on updates and got this :

Must have been because i asked if they'd have the roster update out before FIFA 17 releases :p

While i agree, console game devs have used their PC version for trailers,screenshots and gameplay to market their games which i always felt was just wrong, but it seems to be accepted.

Yes...but you do realise that the game that is getting 9/10 from the PS4 community, is the EXACT SAME GAME as the one that the PC community are giving 4/10 to. The only differences are the skins. One has a higher quality skin, the other not so much.

I don't know why Konami aren't giving the most uptodate SKINS to PC gamers, but to say a game is utter crap, because the graphics are a little toned down, is quite frankly a bit mental. I conlcude, that the majority (or vocal minority) of PC gamers are fkn mental.

This guy is something else. However, it hasn't escaped my attention that this form of censorship and blunt enforcement of personal will seems to rather reflect how things are done in back in 'Bhattiland'

Pc gamers are giving it a low score because were tired of shoddy ports. It doesn't matter if it plays the same as the ps4 version it looks quite abit worse and sweet fx wont change the player models or crowd models. Pc gamers shouldn't have to mess around with external programs like that to get there game looking close to the ps4 version. I'm pretty sure the 4/10 scores are because pc gamers are just tired of being **** on when it comes to PC ports.

Theres no excuse for it not to look as good as the ps4 version without having to do any silly tweaking or oversharpening everything with sweet fx.
After the last Batman game and how much of a mess they made with that these companies don't deserve any sympathy.
 
I have this game, don't waste your money...
Yes the graphics aren't great
the interface is poor compared to Fifa
but the main thing is the goal keepers!!! Konami could have just removed keepers from the game.. that's how bad they are.

played about 11 online games in divisions and the lowest scoring game was 2-2, highest was 7-6
 
Let's hope they don't overdo the goalies if they do patch them.

Its more annoying when you can't score a goal at all because the goalkeepers are all like brick walls in the net.
 
Anyone know a way to remap the XBox controller right stick press down to a shoulder button? can't do it in-game it seems. Pressing the sticks down does not agree with me for some reason. See programs like Xpadder etc. but looks fiddly
 
I played a few games of the demo and I was underwhelmed. I don't care about the graphics, they are sufficient.

But the game play doesn't feel right. If I have the ball and look up at everyone else on the pitch, they are so static. I feel the ball sticks to your feel unnaturally well. It feels a bit too quick as well, you can pass it around in a way that would never work in real life.

Just lots of little things that mean like I feel like I am playing... well... a video game. An arcadey one at that. I feel FIFA gets the balance right.

Fifa and PES are arcade games. People saying either one is more of a simulator compared to the other one, is personally funny. :)

They will only improve in theory once the devs have much more powerful engines to improve upon. Whether it be the next-gen or the gen after, who knows.

Personally i've given up with this current gen of uninspiring, same old arcade gameplay sports games. I think PES 16 is better on the pitch than Fifa 16 though.

It has to be arcadey to some extent though. There is no way a human being could play a 'realistic simulation' of a football game, especially not 11v11. It's not really down to the engine but we have limits on what we can process when we stare at the screen. I'm not sure what kind of input device that would even let you 'realistically' control a single player properly.
 
Just played a game...I like it, seems more fluid than before...just need PES Galaxy or PTE to release a patch for kits and we will be fine!
 
Just played this on my mates pc and wow ! what a let down , every time I had a shot on goal I had to watch a slow replay WTF HAHA , Can this be turned off ?

Its an ok football game but still FiFa is better in every way and the fact that all the names are not licensed still in this day and age is crazy.

I really, really don't understand how anyone can possibly say that. FIFA 15 in particular was so utterly atrocious, not to mention utterly scripted, that I can only conclude that EA must have everyone addicted to 'something else' about the game, as opposed to the gameplay itself, which was laughably dire.
