Looks great w3bbo!

Think the colour combo of the mobo and ram is awesome!!! :cool:I know it's of topic but do have a pic of this?

Looking for something similar myself. :)

All you would see is white lol. It's just a box room, painted white, with a white desk area, soon to become my PC room - nothing special at all really but it reflects the light well.

1. Depends what equipment you have. When I first started out I took pics in a bath and simply altered the exposure as required. I have a white room now which makes things much easier:).

2. Not 'my' webiste - I most of the component reviews for them.

Thanks, cos always wondering how to take pic with white background. I might make myself a white box :D

Funny you should say that, a package came this week plastered in Enermax stickers:D.

I'll get some pics up later.

Good choices with the stuff so far. Really looking forward to seeing it come together. It's good to see Gigabyte making some nice looking boards these days. The white and blue theme for the build is a winner. :D

Minor update. A box from Germany arrived the other day and no guesses which manufacturer sent it:

I'll take some pics of the PSU next. Something I suspect wil need heavil;y modifying to match the build;).

What's the noise level and airflow really like? (As in reality vs whats on the box)

You don't happen to have a Noctua NF-P12 Vortex to compare by any chance?

Watching with interest as these fans are supposedly rated at almost the same CFM as the Noctua, but 5db lower!

Sorry no, I only have yate loons to compare to. These seem to push more air and are even quieter. The great thing with these are you can clip the blades out for cleaning and they just snap back in.

Thanks. Might just get one to compare. Always on the lookout for something even quieter than what I have already ;)

EDIT - just done a little searching and found 1 review where they are compared to LOADS of other fans, including a Noctua, although they seem to have included figures from both a NF-S and NF-P, at different points in the review which makes it a little difficult to properly compare them.

Here's the review... http://forums.techarena.in/reviews/1130678.htm

I was tempted with the Sharkoon Eagle Golfball fans but these are just sooooo much nicer. Best looking fans I've seen, hope they can keep 3 x PA 120.3's cool.

Those enermax fans look great w3bbo, i currently use the sharkoon se 2000's in my rig (5 in total 2 on a TRUE black) id consider swapping to the enermax if they do 2000 rpm models, solely on looks alone.

That psu is excellent!!! I trust it way more than my old pc power and cooling and that was already a great psu. Price is a bit steep but with it being able to peak at over 1000w, I'm sure it can handle anything.

Those fans sure are sexy, the magma one seemed too good spec wise for it to be true. It would be good if you could compare them with the likes of the scythes and the noctuas.

I was gonna ask if they were meant to come apart like that! It would make cleaning a lot easier, especially if stuff like hair gets caught in the motor. The only downside I can think of is if the clip that holds them in gets worn it could give more vibration and shorten its lifespan.

PK!
