IT's killing me not being able to even take a peek at the case yet. I need to take pics while unwrapping for the purposes of reviewing it you see, and before I review that I got other reviews to complete. Expect pics at the weekend.
I'm also waiting on a waterblock to be imported so there's only prep work I can do until that arrives

I wouldnt be able to cope if i was you!! I'd well just rip into it and then patch it up as best I can later to make it look unopened

Ok, so I've taken delivery of the Ascension Duality (Extended) which will be photo'd soon and reviewed but it gave me the kick up the backside needed to make a start on my project.
As the sunshine was out I decided to get on with some colour coding.
First I got some of the kit from a previous build together which needed tarting up a little:
With them prepped, I gave them a couple of coats of primer (white):
After a light sand, I then gave them the first coat of gloss white spray, slowly building up the layers:

So with a good few coats, resprays due to catching them inadvertantly and a 24hr drying period they look none the worse for wear:

So much work to do and so little time
. I'm really excited about this build but freeing up some time to actually get it done is proving difficult.
The case looks great, really impressed with it but it actually has 16 x 120mm fans instead of the 11 I planned.
