Project: Angel

You can have a go yourself with say a dremmel tool but it is very difficult and mistakes are hard to cover up.

Only thing im good for with a dremmel tool, is cutting large holes with straight lines, with a pencil i could draw you anything but not in the least bit delicate when it comes to stuff like that.

Got an interview tomorrow so hopefully il be back in the work circuit soon and get onto my own build of which ill flood you with pictures ;)

Update:

Everywhere appears to have sold out of the Enermax 120MM clusters so I was left with a shortfall of 6.

Having done a serious miscount on the amount of fans I needed (got 10 - need 16), Enermax have come up trumps again and are sending out another 6. Big thanks to Enermax!!

I can now crack on with the build - sorry for the delay guys!

Other Jobs to do:

Clean both rads
Spray both rads
Mod a memory cooler to match the build
Spray EK FC280GTX backplates to match

Still to purchase (among other things):
Lot's of braid (White)
Tubing (white)
2 x Reservoirs (EK or XSPC - dunno yet)
Bitspower goodies
CPU Waterblock (still undecided on this)
2 switches

Lots of white? haha, lots of what?

But yea, Im looking for some clusters too but none in stock! Current fans are useless and really like the look of those ones :) are they really as quiet/shift as much air as the specs suggest?

Good luck, looks like you still have plenty to keep you going for now :p

More Spraying

Update:

While waiting for the rest of the fans to arrive from Deutschland (Enermax) I found the time to do a few more mods. Well make that spraying a few more items to colour code the rest of the build.

The Black skin of the Thermochills would have stuck out like a sore thumb as they were so I went for a satin white flavour here. I also did the same to the shrouds.

Here's the bits and bobs I have lightly sanded down to give the paint a key to work to:

and the rads drying off after a couple of rub downs with wet and dry and a final top coat:

For fitting the shroud I wanted to use the same button head screws used on the Ascension case so every matches up where possible:

More to come soon...

Stupidly precise with things, especially using the same bolt, i love it :p

Really want to see this now, how long are you expecting this to take? Everything there but the stuff from the Germs?

I'm waiting on the extra fans from Enermax who have helped me out BIG time with their sponsorship.

I'm also waiting on a CPU block from a competitor which I'm beginning to lose hope on. Which brings me to my next decision. I was thinking of using the Cuplex Di (new revision):

Bit of a risk as I aint ever used one and I know they are restrcitive but the new revision is supposed to be a little better. Looks perfect for my needs though.

or do I go with the EK Supreme (acrylic top) and I'll most likely be using the EK chipset blocks so would also match.
