Great. Just so you know, although I was doing crap, I didn't rage quit. Game crashed at the start of the third lap.

That's twice it crashed in what, 40 minutes of being in game? With the BugSplat report. I seem to be getting this regularly.

Online multiplayer is a bit borked at the moment but there is a patch incoming to fix it. Was tested over the weekend apparently.

yep,99% of the time I have no hud at all so I don't know where people are as have no map and havnt got a clue what lap I'm on lol anyone else have this glitch? its the most common one for me, not as bad as what some are experiencing but I find it super annoying

I am not sure it's that. I've been getting regular crashes offline too.

In fact, I've just had one in career mode. I am a terrible driver, so I have restarted one of my races (Donington) multiple times when I've spun out or been rammed. I was finally doing really well...halfway through the final lap and just took 2nd place and was moving up on the leader, when the game crashed again. It's almost like it knows when I am doing well after hours or getting frustrated, and then kicks me.

I'll be honest, I am close to losing my rag with the game. It's got a steep enough learning curve as it is, to not be able to trust that you will even finish a race without crashing is getting tiresome.

enjoyed that, no idea on those first two tracks you guys picked though, and don't get me started on the F1 type car lol.

Lovely GT3 race with Leon at the end at Brands though, clean and close :) need to go learn the unfamiliar ones though. To hard with no map or hud

added.

That was decent enough! Some good races there and I agree, those Formula Renaults were horrendous!

We tend to do the same every monday night starting at 7 and finishing around 9 but just getting to grips with this game still.

More than welcome to join up like tonight, more the merrier!

Think we had Knockhill, Donnington, Circuit of the Americas and then Bruno.

Will try and get them onto Discord next week as well

TOURING CARS AT BATHURST epic combo... BMW vs FWD upstarts, wow just wow!

..and have you tried the Thunderstorms yet, bloody hell this game is jaw droppingly good, mind those flippin puddles though ... unbelievable few sessions tonight...

iRacing has had it once they get online sorted out. RF2/AC will be history...Jack Spade is a living God of FFB....

Took me almost 45min to get the game to allow me to bind left/right to my Leo Bodnar system, but all was forgiven when I put the Oculus on.

I'm a big fan of rFactor 2, and this certainly gives it a run for its money in the physics department. I still need to try Jack Spade's custom FFB files, but I managed to get it feeling quite good with a few tweaks of the sliders. The game is visually stunning too. The level of detail, especially the lighting, is incredible.

The multiplayer aspect is pretty much completely broken, but here's hoping they get it right soon and implement the league functionality as promised.

Dammit looks like i missed out, I'll have to keep an eye on this thread for MP evenings in future, just been playing against AI so far, really want to get back in to Sim racing, I havnt taken it seriously for years, like Simbin GT racing and GT legends sort of years, this game has really got me excited for it again.

^I'll have what he's having :D

Sorry, got a bit carried away, but did Brands Indy with some mates in .Thunderstorms, then moved to Monza short with 2slots rain to heavy fog. Then we did Bathurst with the touring cars...so so good, the game is just stunning. I was using the Jack spade tweakers but the vibrations on the straight are too much, I need to reduce the volume or switch to the low files...

I've gone back to RAW preset and although you can feel most of the same things it's not enough and feels light compared to the in game wheel movement...

I've loaded the SimCom4 beta file and my rig shook do hard my mouse fell off the tray again...had to reduce the volume in there too...

In a couple of months with patches to iron out the bugs this game will something very special indeed, it's pretty stunning now...tbh

What the hell was up with the 3.5 Renault's felt like I was driving on ice(my excuse for coming 5th) hopefully next time you guys will pick the courses iam familier with, other than that it was fun. Is there any way to have a friends list in game rather than on steam?
