Project Cars 2 is en route :D

yep,99% of the time I have no hud at all so I don't know where people are as have no map and havnt got a clue what lap I'm on lol anyone else have this glitch? its the most common one for me, not as bad as what some are experiencing but I find it super annoying

I've heard people say they lose the HUD if they go into the monitor screen, is that what's happening. I think if you just pop into options or some other screen it comes back. I haven't experienced it myself though.

Oh, that would explain it. Last night session I thought the guys playing turned off all the hud. Combining that and 2 circuits is never even heard of before was disastrous. Was bloody great when I finally saw a familiar circuit in Brands though haha.

Thanks for turning up last night, was good fun! Will do some different tracks etc, just seeing what works best at the moment.

Always open to suggestions!

The rain to dry on Donnington was brilliant, the puddles!

Jack Spades Standard Mid with the Excel settings works well for me with FFB

Can you check out the Ferrari F50 at Fuji with those files and let me know what it's like for you please, for me it nearly shook my rig apart which suggests the main straight is very bumpy, I tried reducing the FFB volume but it didn't seem to help...I found it too much so I'm going to try the low files tonight (there is an antijolt thing that Jack's disabled which is supposed to protect wheels from damage, and that worries me slightly). Touring Cars (BMW) at Bathurst were awesome but F50 at Fuji was too much...

Try adjusting the Fx setting instead to iron out bumps.

This time seems like a perfect opportunity for me to put my old wheels up for sale.

Can't bear to part with mine...shows my progression
DFGT
G27
T500RS
G29 (bought with a PS4 which I've barely used as I hoped GT sport Beta would be fun, it wasn't so much). The wife like little big planet 2 though...not much use for the wheel in that

OK will give it a try tonight, if I get on. I might be in trouble I used polish to clean the doors at the weekend and some went on the floors making them slippy. Wifey has gone arse over tit and is blaming me...apparently telling her if she did the job properly I wouldn't have to wasn't the right response. Maybe I need to be more diplomatic lol.

Is it true that there's a bug in the game which means slick tyres don't warm up properly?

If so, this would explain a few things. On my second career race, at Donington, I did the practice session and it was raining, and I absolutely nailed it. I had the best lap times by a fair margin.

Move to the qualifying session and the weather and track was dry, so I figured I had pole position in the bag - and it was awful. Understeer everywhere. Slightest whiff of throttle existing a corner saw me sideways. Ended up qualifying in 12th place (of 12 cars). And in general I've noticed that I was tending to cope with wet conditions better than dry.

Hoping they get it fixed soon, otherwise every qualifying session in the dry is going to be a nightmare.

I don't know about the bug but have found cars more stable on wet tyres in wet conditions generally which seems odd. Not faster just more stable with the same setup.
