I'm currently using the TM PC RACER wheel. I've heard TM have a partnership with Sparco. Hopefully they'll release a new wheel soon.
I have a Leo Bodnar SimSteering 2 system (direct drive).
Oh my goodness...... How much that cost you?
Worth it though right?
Why are the LB DD kits so much more expensive than the offerings from other companies?
Like this one?
Good answer. One reason is that the Leo Bodnar system uses a Kollmorgen servo with a much better encoder which is a LOT more expensive than the Chinese-made MiGE servo that the OSW kits tend to use.
Looks interesting can't see it being <£1000 though. More like £1300 + the rim cost.I'm waiting to see what the Fanatec DD wheel is like
Not on it's own you have to buy the package for £650[/QUOTE]
That rim for sale now???
"Worth" is a subjective thing, but I really, really love it. Combined with VR (which PC2 excels at in a massive way) it's a very immersive experience.
