Project Cars 2 is en route :D

I dropped the steering angle on mine and changed the FFB to 'raw' in-game. Not sure if it's made any difference but I can slide a Ginetta Jr around Donington a lot more easily now.
 
I tried the Jack Spade low files tonight, even turning down fx and volume the wheel shake on the straights is way too much. Back to RAW with volume and fx up to 65 and it feels good...might pump it up a bit more. Got my first tt wr tonight, Frookie @ Monza Short with default setup. It won't be there long but it's good to get a P1 while it's early days lol

I just did the first race in the career mode driving the Formula 1 type car and the first lap wont register. I did a whole two laps before it counted the lap which of course meant I lost the race. Also sometimes the qualifying lap times set by the AI is mental and impossible to beat but when you race them, you fly past them on the first corner.

Are you skipping to end of session? Times set by AI seems to be wildly faster if you skip to the end of the session compared with waiting it out monitoring the session. Seemed like it was a bit bugged to me.
 
I saw that on my first lap of Snetterton and was like "wtf?"
Every time I came up to that corner I found myself squinting at it to see if it was an intentional thing :D

I noticed that when skipping to the end of a practise session, the AI times were quicker than the current TT record!

No. I restarted the game and played it again but this time it registered the lap. There are a few little bugs with the game which will hopefully be patched out soon, such as the racing line intermittently vanishing on certain corners or other corners don't have it at all where it is needed.
 
just disable the racing line it makes for really bad habits and you'll take longer to improve.. first thing i do in all racing games is disable it.. if u want a race line go play a train simulator.

And turn off automatic gears. Iam ashamed to say I used to use automatic gears until I forced myself to use manual now it feels so much more involving, just need to turn off auto clutch now.:p
