Project Cars 2 is en route :D

Looks like the 2.0 patch has been released because my Steam client has queued up a 3.6GB download for PC2.

Release notes:

Hopefully they've overhauled the whole setup saving/loading UI, it's completely borked. It'll randomly reset to a different setup and saving the setup will try and override another setup. Hopefully that's what they mean when they say "Tweaks and fixes to setup UI and flow."
 
I've had this game a few days now and I have been loving it, i'm a newbie when it comes to sim racing games but went all in a got a wheel and it's such a fun game (if a little difficult for noobs haha)

In terms of wheel settings what do people use? I've got a logitech G29 and have it set on informative on the feedback settings but have heard others say Raw is best, thoughts?

download jack spades ffb settings and use one of them, makes a massive difference imo and makes it 100 times better :)

The game feels completely different now, FFB and driving the cars has changed. A few people on the same server said the games buggered and left!

Also noticed that I could select any car to drive when in the car selection menu even though it was TC1. I could select any car but then it would automatically pick a Clio, weird.

so your saying its worse? I hope not lol as I was loving this game despite the few bugs,will have a go in bit
 
Yeh im getting massive stuttering now, patch has borked the game for me. Ffs.

Its changed the feel of my jack spades ffb setting too, what are they upto with this patch?

racing seems fine for me..but... I have the most annoying bug ever now, when I start the game it locks up at the title screen and the only way to get it to play is I have to alt/tab out then click back on project cars,if I do this the game works,i have to do this every time I start the game and its annoying as hell!

I'm not sure if its the project cars update causing it or the windows update I just had...ffb still seems great to me though

Yeah I've been using Jack Spades FFB and it feels totally different now!

I also noticed I could come straight out of the pits on cold tyres and have loads more grip than yesterday, something strange has been changed and I don't like it!

very strange, for me I can feel every tyre slide etc and every bump, I even thought at one point it might be better,but that might be because I aint played for couple of days lol
 
I tried the Jack Spade files as i loved them in PC1, but prefer RAW with some volume and FX tweaks. The spade files are just too much on my T500, shakes the thing to pieces on the straights.
