If you want to get more goodness from PC2 check out www.stoopidchallenges.com, a time trial based competition using default setup (loose for wheel and stable for controller). Download an app on PC or IOS that picks up the UDP feed from the game (on the same network) and sends the info to the website. This includes a check on driver aids, all telemetry and even driving line so you can see where you are losing out to others by overlaying your lap with theirs. It's both competitive and a bit of a laugh, highly recommended.

The combos are selected at random using a spreadsheet which excludes previously run combinations, in theory eventually we will have run every car/track combo in the game, talk about getting your money's worth lol. It does mean there is a variety of races, some are good, some are bad. We've even tried a bit of RallyX to mix things up.

We're getting a good number of people on PC and have been trying to get together on Tuesdays/Thursdays for some friendly online racing, not very successfully so far unfortunately.
 
Sounds a lot like what Uncle Petey used to run with Assetto. I'll look it up at the weekend, Tuesdays would be good for me too, if you can get a crowd.
 
Maybe after the summer :) Numbers tend to be a little thin around this time of year in my experience.
Funnily enough, I have been thinking about it lately, as I've barely touched my wheel over the last few months.
 
When do you though, you'll be saying to yourself why am I not doing this at every available moment:) I get this myself every time it's been a few week's.

Since the last patch the vr view has changed on me.

How do I put this......
When I lean the camera moves with me
e.g. I lean but it's still in position so I can't put my head put of the window.

Anyone know how to change it back?
 
^^^ No problems here. I've had that before in iracing though, think a reboot cleared it as Oculus was saying it had lost tracking of my headset.

It sometimes happens if the sensor moves. Rerun oculus sensor setup should sort it out.
 
Gave PC2 a thrash on the new rig last night.

Most things that matter were set at ultra, ss at 2.0. Ran the 355 along the cote d'azur, it looking stunning, ran smooth, 8 minutes I didn't want to end. I hadn't had that much joy in a point to point since Need For Speed first dropped on the 3DO. While i'm content to wait, you guys on the Pimax order sheet are in for a treat if your grabbing one for PC2.

Do you have a Pimax then lokiss? I’d be surprised if you could run PC2 at those settings on the Pimax. I’m backer #2392 and it’s possible my 8k is on its way to me now...they’re not exactly clear on what is being shipped though...I really can’t wait, got a HOTAS to play ED for crimble, I’m actually getting hooked on that as well now.
 
Nope, as I said i'm content to wait. Just a new rig with a 2080ti. It looks so great, it's going to be amazing through the eyes of one of those 5k units. I hadn't been that interested in the Pimax before, now I want to see the future.
