Project cars benchmarks

I've only tried running two cards so far, but xfire seems to work just fine fwiw.
With unified usage off, both cards will run between 50-100% depending on what's happening. (Generally 75-100%)
Strangely, card two generally sits at a higher percentage.

Oh, and I followed these instructions and tried using these drivers. So far, I think they seem to offer an improvement over 15.4 in this.

Not had a chance to play much with settings, but they're all pretty much maxed with MSAA on and detailed grass off because I don't look at the grass and the rest of it is pretty enough :p
@1440p, fps ranges from around 55-90+ at the fake Suzuka circuit with 20 cars and weather ranging from clear, heavy fog to thunderstorm. It does bog down to around 37fps when initially sitting on the grid, but other than that...

Well, performance for me is sweet on PCars and runs very well. A bit of a killer in the rain at times but with G-Sync, it still runs sweet as and doesn't notice (I didn't even pick it up for my review and only checked back after seeing a couple of comments in here) :D

Please wait for it to fully render to see how well this runs on a TX.

Loving the game and stunning

That's good to know seen couple users report good results from that driver. Might shop around later see how much I can get it for.

Yeah, it seems decent. Probably should've done a proper A-B comparison, but hey ho.
Hope it doesn't affect any other titles negatively.

Oh, and to clarify the settings; everything max with reflections high and now high AA and detailed grass off.
I think reflections were medium and AA was set to MSAA in previous post.

It hasn't affected fps that much tbh. Averages are a tiny bit lower, but roughly the same at around 60-75+ give or take. Max is still at 90+.

Oh, and cards are stock and cpu @4.4.

Just out of curiosity, how have nvidia manged to get their name plastered all over the game and yet the devs claim that they haven't been paid a penny by them? How does that work?

I'm not bothered or anything, just doesn't seem to add up.

Advertising PCars for them. Swings and roundabouts in marketing for them both.

Fair enough. Maybe they got extra help or discounts with purchasing/implementing gamesworks tech or something too.

I dunno how it works tbh.

As far as the performance difference between vendors goes in this, let's hope it really is a case of AMD slacking and nothing more concerning than that.

I am sure some will see it as something more descerning, as they can't have AMD in a bad light. I don't care though and runs swell for me :)

Why did i watch this!? I now want it. I was purposely not looking as i don't need anymore games at the moment!! Although, when you hit that post and it literally threw you across the track, not something i like.

Looks pretty fun though, i'll get it later down the line for sure.

Anyone got this and a 290x and getting over 60FPS? Haha
