Project Helca Yár

So heres a pic of everything (kinda meh picture but oh well! xD)

Just stripped my case to literally nothing and tried fitting the rads... the 120mm can't be in the place I had it planned to be in... doesn't fit with the 240mm rad unfortunately. D: Guess thats a bit of a replan. I was thinking changing the pump into on of my HDD bays and having the 120mm where the pump was going to go reckon that would be decent enough?

120 in the bottom should be fine mate, looks like you have plenty of space to drop the pump into one of the HDD bays.

I can't see for sure but do you not have room for another 240 in the bottom?

There is (but I went with a 120 due to budgetting and it's more than enough rad space for now) going to try to fit the res (just to see the space I would have for tubing) and will try fitting the 680 block onto my monster of a 670 ^.^

Hit a snag trying to remove the cooler off my windforce.. seems I don't have a small enough screwdriver and not even my smallest flat headed screw driver will get the last two screws to turn.

Nevermind I got it off! lol trying to remove two screws for something that I wasn't meant to try to remove (oopsy) Oh wait I have to remove that.. Hmm this could be problematic :/

Buy a good 20-30 piece driver bit set, ideal for PC's :D

You think the windforce is big, wait until you see pics of the 7970 Lightning with a waterblock fitted, its competing with a 690 for size!

The Koolance block looks nice, was it easy to fit? The EK 680 block I fitted to a 670 WF was a doddle compared to fitting 6870 blocks to my 6950's.

Just think, that GT240 PCB is probably the same size as the ref 670...

Edit:CHEESE BURGERS AND ENERGY DRINKS!! THE MEAL OF CHAMPIONS!!

It will be a while before I get to properly set everything up Technics :( My AX750 PSU has died on me (sadfais) RMA'ing it monday so shouldn't be long before everything is up and running! Haven't properly fit the 680 block yet Pgi since I'm not sure of the best way to measue + cut my thermal pads xD and yes cheeseburgers and energy drinks. I must say the comments about the mug running hot are rather silly. Mines running at around room temprature or just below :p

So I got the Koolance block fitted on my 670 today (with assistance from my mum due to not being able to cut in a straight line since my hands shake quite a bit :/) was easy as to put on the 670 hope the thermal paste spread alright (did it twice to make sure it spread properly) heres a pic of the lovelyness (minus the blue pcb...damn gigabyte!)

Just need a backplate to cover up the blue pcb at the back and I'm all sorted :)

Being patient whilst waiting for OcUk to get stock sucks... But at the same time my motherboard is being RMA'ed so I suppose there isn't much of a rush! But it has sort of put my project at a standstill which sucks :(

Quite a nice looking block tbh, are the inlet/outlet holes only on the underside like the new EK blocks or do koolance still put holes on the sides, top etc?
