PROJECT: MAGNUS AQUA DOMUS!

It's not closed but I'd presume staff numbers are lower at the weekend so you may not get a reply until Monday, if it's urgent, phone them :)

Nah wouldn't have thought so just enough to see if fluid is being pulled from the res in meaningful quantities or not, a drop should show me that.

Yeah that's what I saw, £100-ish for the top then another £55 on a second pump.

I've sent the seller a message, hopefully I'll find out sooner rather then later, though I have another in the pipline complete with plexi alphacool top should I require it :)

Hopefully will be even nicer once I'm done jigging everything about, going to be another £100+ to change it, but I feel it will be worth it :)

Mayhems Pastel Sunset Yellow (3 of)
3Meters of tubing
second pump (ordered)
cable extensions
Cover panel

Speaking of the cover panel, anyone know of any places that can do me some made to measure cuts? Just in case my first choice is too busy :)

Going to measure it up tomorrow, need to align cutouts for cables and for the 1080 tube routing.

and hmm, cable braiding...maybe...

Edit: Found a schematic of the case from Phobya's documentation complete with size break downs for everything on the inside, should be reeeeallly easy to get that plate made up now

Will also use this picture to show how everything will be laid out.

Little update!

I'm holding off taking the loop apart just now as I'm still waiting to hear back from some places about getting a cover panel fabricated :)

Once the panel is sorted then everything else can be, for now I still have to make a cut in the midplate for my cable management plan.

I've also enquired about a window for the case and some lighting clusters for the fans.

Just treated myself to a 1440p monitor too :D

I did/do so I can see what I like better, 120Hz or 1440 :)

Woukd have been rude to not even try 1440 @ £200.

Aww :( ah well I'll have to shell out new then!!

Any need for a 120 and 140 viper fans(yellow), if you want them there yours.

Have you got new monitor yet i'm curious to know what you think. Nearly bought an asus pb287q on b grade last week, too indecisive and missed out.

1440 is out of the window, back on with the loop planning....

Coverage panel I'm now considering ordering a mesh panel? Is it going to look gash? Plan to order what ever I choose for the panel this weekend so I can get cracking :D

For the price, you won't get better, I have 6 of them, full 12v they are pretty loud but they shift LOTS of air, certainly more then my vipers were pushing through, stick them on a controller at ~1300rpm you will hardly hear them :)

Just waiting to find out if Pulse modders mesh is rigid or not, if its really flexible its a no-go.

Second D5 arrived today too :D

Edit: Minor order to get things moving, including the official SLI/CF plate for my blocks so I can remove the cable ties that are preventing the bottom of my variable connector leaking, new clear tubing to replace the orange stuff, couple of extra compressions for just incase as I have a leak coming from under one on my 360 rad and 3 litres of sunset yellow mayhems pastel

Aqua Computer TwinConnect 5-Slot 1 £13.32
Mayhems Pastel - Sunset Yellow Coolant 1L ** NEW COLOUR FOR 2012 ** 3 £37.47
EK PSC Compression Fitting 7/16 [16/11mm] - G1/4 - Nickel 2 £5.48
XSPC 7/16" ID [16/11mm] High Flex Hose - Clear [1m Length] 3 £7.47

I'm just waiting to hear back from a guy about how ridgid the modders mesh is, then I can get that ordered along side a 360 rad stand and start cutting the midplate up :o

So true, thinking about some new memory with the money I would have spent on the new monitor.

The Samsung stuff isn't playing nicely with my board at all, 11-15-15-40-2T @ 2133 is pathetic to say the least, have my eye on a tridentx kit at 10-12-12-31-1T @ 2400mhz ;)

I have Avexir memory 2133 and the highest I can get it is 2333Mhz on slack timings of 11-12-12-30-T2

Any tighter and it is a no boot with 00 on the lights (means it aint having any of it).

Yeah, this green stuff just doesn't want to play nice at any speed, it likes to sit at 11-11-11 @ 1600mhz then wants a jump to 11-14-14 for 1866mhz! 11-12-12 isn't too bad for 2333mhz.

The Avexir kits are nice - and would fit my colour scheme, though its hard to turn down 16GB of 2400mhz CL10 TridentX. I'll stick the sammy greens up on the MM, should get the £65 I paid for them back quite easily as they're up near £130 now!!

Need to order a rad stand (ironic given the amount of radiator positions this case has!) and mesh, I'll get some cutting tools home with me to mod the midplate this week too :D

Yer memory has gone mental in pricing. I was doing a spec for a friend the other day and thought I was missing something for bog standard DDR3 1600Mhz stuff. Massively increased :(

Look forward to your mods Paul :)
