Thanks mate, I apologise btw for the poor quality on some of them. I'm not very good with the camera! :)

It dont matter, you can see the case has gone from "dud to stud" :)

You really have made me want to do a similar thing now though, from seeing what you have acheived, its so tempting!

Another thing, was any mods required to get the two 120mm noctua fans on the noctua CPU cooler? Was the heatsink made to allow two fans? or did you have to mount it specially in some way?

Also are the fans mountable eitherway (blowing in or blowing out)? Or did you have to make some mods to reverse the fan?

That's actually cracking dude, looks Ace :)

Try and get some pictures on the inside, like the cabling and what not, cant have a nice outside with a nasty inside now can we ;)

Good job.

The Noctua heatsink is made to allow two fans to be mounted, they supply you with two brackets to mount the fans to the heatsink - no mofification was needed there. There are indicators on the fans to show the direction of ariflow, the side with the sticker in the centre blows towards you. This is the case one most other fans too I think.

Go on, you know you want to!! Its easy as well, its only taken me around 6 weeks and I wasn't constantly working on it. I would say if you worked on this project and dedicated most of you're time to it it would take around 2 weeks :)

Yeah I am really tempted, gotta find an old case first though... and its gotta be big, I like the thought of having all that space inside for some nice airflow, instead of being cramped in a little box.

I'm gonna do it :D !!!

What a beautiful machine! nice job.

Now mine will have to be a tribute! I love the mesh on the front.

Question though. if you have 3 x 120mm fans pulling air in the front, do you need 3 puching it out the back? else you'd have loads of excess air just milling around in the case getting hot?

The air will be drawn out, it will probably just give you faster airflow I would think. Why, were you thinking of having x3 120mm fans? I have two at the front and x2 80mm and a 120mm for the rear!

I'm not sure what im going to do yet. I think i might put 2 x 120mm Ambers in the bottom of the front panel and mesh it over like yours. Its a funny shape my panel so i might have to butcher it a bit. I'll post some pics either tonight or tomorrow if i can find a host.

But maybe i'll put just one in the bottom, and have one in the side panel (which i'll jigsaw out and make a perspex window for (ive never used a jigsaw in my life)) over the graphics card/northbridge. I dunno. I'm not restricted by the number of fans i have, just tryign to think of the best possible airflow.

Nice job bro! I swear thats my old case before I left for Oz :p Ha same fan layout as my Coolermaster CM Stacker
It isn't yours, dad has yours. This I bought for a tenner a few years back. Far better quality!!

DampCat, which email should I use to email you?
