Good luck :) do you have everything you need to complete the build ? any ideas on a timescale for completion ?

Thanks mate.

time to completion depends on leaks and the like. I haven't turned the pump on, and I've already found that for some reason, 7/16" tubing on 1/2" barbs is loose enough to cause a leak. it's the bottom barb on the graphics card. For some reason the tubing is not tight enough

I'm hoping it'll be okay though, as the water is flowing from the barb rather than to the barb.

DO NOT
put anti freeze in you loop

dont do it

do not do this

i got your trust message.
i have been really busy so havent had the time to reply

your pump

i dont even know what that connector is on your pump mate
shouldnt have bought it from a competitor ;)

Yes RJ, I've been very foolish with this build ;)

It's verging on fail, all the monies gone, never coming back.

I think I managed to rewire it anyway, so it's all good, hopefully :o

Little update: I filled the loop, but had to drain it again due to an unexpected kink. I've taken the motherboard and res out, I've got my new pump, and I'm going to be replacing some fittings, and maybe replacing some tygon with the masterkleer stuff instead

I've always loved this case, it looks really great, though one thing that I'm not so keen on is those bayres's and also the fact that the internals of the case is bare aluminium..

Powder coating/spray painting internals all the way for me, it makes internals look soooooo much better!

Also, I'd use compression fittings over barbs anyday, they're far more secure than barbs, a lot of people will say that using 7/16" tubing over 1/2" barbs is the best, but on several occasions I've had my 7/16" tubing pop off the 1/2" fittings when I've been leak testing.

Barbs are crap imo, compressions look 1000 times better...

Some people go on about how compressions will "unscrew" themselves because of twists in the tubing, well I've had my system WC'ed for over a year now and I have yet to see any of my compressions unscrew themselves.

Though, each to their own, if you prefer barbs that's your choice, I personally would use 3/8" ID 5/8" OD tubing over 1/2" barbs, you'll need to dip the ends of the tubing into warm water first, then fit it over the 1/2" barbs, that way you won't need to use any cable ties/jubilee clips to keep the tubing onto the fittings which imo gives it a better look when using barbs..
