Will we actually see more than Sony showed us with the PS4 event...? As in the actual console and information about it, rather than a farcical showing of a few games and not much else.

Yep there's two parts to the unveil second part is games at E3. I too am weirdly looking forward to it as well.

I would say so Sonys was 3 months ago this is 3 weeks before E3. Sony is showing the PS4 at E3 as well so it would make sense to show it this close. Sony had all the hardware info released that day only thing we didnt see was the console and a lot of the UI, even though they showed some of the UI.

All of the names for the xbox have annoyed me, they'll have to make it something really special to actually sound good, since they won't want to call it the xbox 3 (because of the PS4), they'll have to call it something completely different, and I don't like any of the names that've come out so far, I think the best name for it has been its' codename, as xbox 720/infinity/next, or even just xbox don't really have that ring to it IMO, and calling it just xbox doesn't make sense to me

Probably differentiated by a codename/tagline.

Xbox is just the brand, no different to PlayStation. They'll announce the full name during the event.

It has think Lucid and Rare are involved, some of the Bizzare people work for Evolution Studios doing Drive Club for the PS4 strangely enough.

OS intergrated with/based off Windows 8

PGR would be truly amazing! Still remember playing it with folks here. Was awesome.
