The new Xbox is going to come up out of the stage in Peter Molyneux's cube. He will tap away the last layer and voila! The console is inside it.

Why are some people so picky about how the console looks ?! I couldnt care less about the look for the console its just going to sit on a shelf in the TV stand pretty much out of sight. So don't see the problem.

I would have a problem if it had bright Pink LED lights that you could not turn off

I really want this to be fantastic. But im hoping they are going to drop the utterly ridiculous live pricing and make it free like playstation and then have the plus model on top. You should not have to pay a subscription to play multiplayer.

Aesthetically pleasing gadgets are always nice

I'm always excited to see what a new console looks like.

I don't know what to expect, I have a feeling I'll be disappointed because it will all be Kinect and TV stuff but I really want to be wrong and they'll aim it at the gamer and have some awesome games.

Agreed. The original 360 was a bit naff but MS took many steps in the right direction with the 360 S, so I think the new one should be quite eye-pleasing and well-designed.

Live is a massive source of revenue for them, there's no way they'd give that up. Clearly a lot of people are happy to pay it for the service, so the best you can hope for is that they add more value to it outside the scope of online gaming/entertainment.

Or keep the sub and offer free stuff like Playstation Plus.

I think Microsoft are aware of how much people like the 360 controller as it is, would be surprised if it changed as much as the Dukes did.
