PS4 Headset Comparisons / Options

So does the mic chat work over wireless on these too?

This is something I will need to investigate for you. Will try dig out the mic this evening and attach it and see whats what. Can't imagine there being a problem as the tactic card that slots into the recon unit is a transmitter and receiver so should work just fine.

That would be great matey, thanks. :)

Did you manage to test the mic out? I think I'm going to head to the shop tomorrow and grab a pair if it works. :)

Oh wow. PS4 chat cable for Turtle Beach headsets are GREAT. The max volume on party chat with the supplied earpiece is extremely quiet, however, when I plugged in the chat cable I got the fright of my life when I heard the loudest "sup Neil" ever... Had to adjust reduce the volume of the party chat in the menu as it was so loud. Voice chat is just perfect now, crystal clear - would 100% recommend one to everyone.

Also, the volume control on the PX5 is totally independent of voice chat. You could turn the volume dial on the PX5 all the way down, but still hear party that as that's only controlled via the PS4 menu. The mute mic button on the headset next to the Bluetooth buttons also works too.

For a fiver - bargain!!

Hey mate, apologies, not had a chance yet. Mrs has been hogging the tv catching up on soaps so not had much of a chance to use ps4 and when I have none of my friends have been online. Got mic raked out though so can test out later this afternoon/ evening.

Is there an ok £50 solution for this?

Need a set of headphones with half decent mic on it.

Don't want a £200+ setup for a headset because I am not big on audio.

I can't use the included mic because it picks up sound from my desk speakers.

Using the GS3 headphones atm and they are awful.

Siberia v2 are a good option, i ordered the usb version because the jack version required a splitter to plug into controller. Got my set for 75 pound online.

Well mate I went to test out the chat, but had no friends online so wasn't able to, but I can confirm that the voice control functions work, so would assume voice chat also works.

That'll do me! Thanks for that, I think I'll order a pair tomorrow.

On Amazon they charge twice the price as turtlebeach do directly.

Is it possible to have game and voice chat sound coming through headphones whilst using a bluetooth mic to pick up my voice?

Got a pair of Goldring DR 50 and an Sony SBH-52 for the job if so.
