There is 32" HD CRT (1080i) Samsungs Slimfits, but they have major GEO issues, you can get a good or bad one, infact there is 3 models to choose from.
That res is not high enough 1080i = 720p
I game at 2560x1600

Nope its just right to make you feel like your in the game.21" is plenty for pc gaming at 18 inches from eyes, dont you think 30" screen is to close for pc gaming.
Regardless of my dodgy numbers the res is still not high enough & i dont want interlaced. What you on about, the screen on that CRT is 1920x1080i, it cant do 1280x720p, it upmix it if you input 720p
1920x1080i does not = 1280x720p, 2 different things.
MY LCD did all 3, 1280x720p, 1920x1080i and 1920x1080/60hz, but after all, every LCD or Plasma is Progressive by nature not Interlaced so changes ever I input to P, CRT can be both but most are Interlaced.
You wont be using that res on any LCD/Plasma TV I have see, you need buy a high end PC monitor like Dell or Apples.

£300!If I'd known I would've got one of those instead of a HD LCD lol, the black issues etc.
Personally I use a sort of tray I built to sit a keyboard and mouse on, works perfectly on a sofas, beanbags, beds etc. and it's not too heavy or too big/clumbsy. Makes for some really comfortable gaming and some awesome visuals.![]()
The Samsung SM-305T 30" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Black is a real monitorI never said it was, I was not even posting the CRT HD info to you, but dont go about saying 1080i = 720p please.
Any any crappy HD LCD or Plasma thats only got a panel of 1366x768 upscales every real 1280x720p input to that res so its not 1:! Pixel Mapping, you need a real 1920x1080p panel to even do 1280x720p at 1:1.
I still advise you get a proper PC monitor for that res or better still get more normal monitor and game at 19XX x XXXX and 1x newer card now or in November, it will game better at higher res than them 2 and give you DX10.

Pretty much but I use a PC sound system for sound, lol. Not as good quality as a hi-fi but cheap 5.1.so m8 you use cordless mouse and keyboard from your pc, as my leads would not reach to my sofa, and i exspect you use lead from your soundcard also to your hifi for sound. thx

One you sit across room, it dont matter if SD or HD, there is a guide with screen size and distances online in AVForums, I think my 46" ideal disstance was about 10-12 feet (cant remember), I had to sit back to see SD as it looked crap on a 1080p panel.
if 720p screen its 9 feet away, if 1080p screen its 6 feet away for a 46" screen.
