Queen Elizabeth II has passed away - keep posts civil and respectful

It took off from mildenhall. No idea how he got there so fast.

Air Force one is not traceable I believe, well I can’t find any site that traces it. The one that took off from Mildenhall is Grim99 an Air Force support plane. The fact that is in the air means Air Force one is either in the air or about to be.

Sounds horrible I know, but I feel relieved it’s nearly all over, its been such a strange fortnight or so
No I don't think it does. Kinda agree after 10 days I feel like I'll be glad when tomorrow is here, this has all been quite full on and consuming.

Heart of hearts I bet Charles would agree also, if we're feeling it he's had it x1000! Bit of peace and reflection is what they need now.

The Abbey was an evil villain’s wet dream of a target.

I bet anyone even remotely sus wouldnt of made it within 5 miles of the Abbey today.

You just had to look at all the snipers and spotters on the rooftops everywhere, all the ad-hoc CCTV cameras put up in already one of the most watched cities in the world.

On top of that you had POTUS, the secret service and all the US intelligence which would have been in overdrive. As well as all the other heads of state / dignitaries etc and their intelligence services on alert.

Huzzah! David Dimbleby back doing some commentary for the Windsor leg. It would have been terribly remiss of BBC not to have him - I was expecting him to do the funeral this morning.

Not sure if its been asked before but what would have happened if The Queen had died when covid was at its highest, like when Phillip died.

Yes, an overwhelming sense of pride in a country that's about to get a faceful of the macro economic forces that we've spent the last 3 months (or indeed 12 years+) ignoring due to our inept political systems. Great indeed.

We should all be ashamed of our country for what it's become under her reign, even more so after the last week of abject nonsense.
This is what happens when you spend too much time on Twitter reading 'words of wisdom' from individuals barely past sucking on their mothers teet. Let alone having a grasp of the UK political system.
