At least she did not usher in boris as her last PM she ever done!!!Don’t care at all about royalty but will always have respect for anyone who is 96 and still trying to do public events !
you'd not enjoy it as much as you might think, most of the areas you're likely to see the union flag are sectarian crap holes!Would love to mate

The Queen has been incredible. Even at this stage of her life, handling the role with such grace. I think a lot of people, even those who aren’t monarchists as such, will feel quite sad at the loss when the inevitable happens.

I'm steadfastly pro-republic, but I have the utmost respect for QEII.
I actually think William and Kate are OK (along with the Queen and Phillip). But the rest are a shower.Me too - little time for who comes next but I can't have anything but respect for QE2 (and Phillip)
yea, eye opening is a pretty apt description. lived in Belfast for a few years. horrid horrid place for sectarianism, much like the rest of NI.I spent a fair time in Belfast (pre-covid) with work but mainly just saw the city centre.
Was back a month ago for a weekend holiday and it was eye-opening seeing the rest of the city!
The Guardian article on Operation London Bridge is very interesting, it shows how detailed the plans for her funeral are
