Koss KSC75.
Find the sound quality far superior to stock and they are super lightweight.
I can't tell I'm wearing them
Everyone has personal preferences though, most like the inear headphones but these just don't suit my ears

That's what I use - they're very close to the original (great) Rift CV1 headphones.

What’s everyone’s best headphones for this? The standard ones as per rift s are pretty poor. Over or in ear ones be good :)

I've used my AKG K92 with the quest while playing PC games. They were plugged into the PC rather than the quest. Be a chore if moving about as they have a fixed 3m cable. Very good headphones for the 45 quid that they cost.

I’ve got 3D printed adapters for my KSC75’s and I do really like them. With them being held against rather than being on your ear the sound isn’t as strong, but it’s miles ahead of the inbuilt sound. Also being able to just take the headset off without messing about with the headphones is a bonus.

My problem is I have the Official Quest 2 case, so fitting adaptors to hold the headphones would mean the headset no longer fits.
But to be honest, I'm ok with the Quest 2 sound without headphones for the majority of uses. I tend only to use the headphones when using the microphone, or if gaming when other people are in the room to avoid disturbing them.

Got myself the strap with no battery as got a usbc anker 20000 from Amazon. Keeps it charging while using nicely . Really need to find a good way to attach it to head strap tho instead of being in my pocket!

velcro straps

im still tempted to get the official elite strap

I don't know if my opinion matters, but, I thought the Elite Strap was comfortable until I got the MVH Studios one. When I had the few days were I gave up trying to get the MVH strap fitted correctly, I went back to the Elite Strap. I couldn't wear if for more than 15-20 minutes, if felt so uncomfortable. It was after that I decided to keep the MVH one right no matter how long it took.

If you decide that you can't hold out. Get the Elite Strap with the Battery.

Can anyone with the MVH Studios strap tell me of you could use a different powerbank in an anker one if the only difference is the length. I have a belkin powerbank that's just slightly longer than the powercore II.
Thanks

On mine you wouldn't be able to easily, but that said, the little side pieces aren't that large, so you may get away with it. I use a couple of small velcro cable ties to hold mine in tight, so could probably just file the side pieces down and not notice a difference.

About to do a buy on the quest 2, im after abit of advice for people who wear glasses. My wife wears them and i want her to enjoy and experience VR as well. Can she wear her glasses and still wear the headset comfortably?

It can be comfortable to wear glasses in the Quest 2, it depends on how big the frames and lenses are.

BUT, there is a risk you can scratch the lenses if you do, as the glasses can rub against them - even with the supplied glasses spacer, which moves the lenses further away from the face. This can ruin the headset, as the lenses are not replacable.

The two ways around this are 3D printed projector rings, which clip on the lenses and stop glasses hitting them, or prescription lenses (about £60) which clip on the lenses and give excellent vision for the glasses wearer without having to wear glasses.

Of course the issue with prescription lenses is you have to remove them if another user uses the headset but it's very quick and easy to do.
