\if you can't get the app to work directly on the quest, then you may just be able to view the cox contour tv on the Q2's inbuilt browser.
I had similar issues with the virgin TV go app that wouldn't run on the Q2 but I was able to access the TV go website using the browser.
You could try the Mozilla firefox reality browser which may work. https://www.oculus.com/experiences/quest/2180252408763702/?locale=en_GB
Failing that, try raising a support ticket with oculus.
I downloaded the Mozilla Firefox Reality browser, and I actually could see my cable providers "guide". But unfortunately when I tried to watch any of the content I got a error code: 9002.14007. Thx for your help, I imagine my next step will be putting in a trouble ticket with Oculus.

Has anyone got a bobovr from Alliexpress? is it legit and worth the cost save or should i just plump the amazon price?
Nice thanks I'll order one tomorrow!Yes it's legit and yes it's worth the saving if you can wait for the delivery.
Just ordered two of those BoboVR head straps for myself and my daughter from AliExpress. I’ve been itching to pick up some accessories for the Quest as I love a good tinker, but there doesn’t seem much that truly maximises bang for buck beyond the head straps. I’d love one of the magnetised gun stocks, but for circa £85 I just don’t play enough of those games to justify it.
Beyond that there’s just a lot of copy cat products, slight alternatives, or simple tat. Charger sets would be good if I played for long enough, but the sound quality of the headset truly impresses me so I’ve never seen the value in the earphones.
I do have a set of the ceiling mounted pulley systems which I really rate when I can’t game in the same room as the router.
Sorry to hear that it's still not working for you. If you do get it working, can you let us know, as it may help others with a similar issue in the future.
When I asked of Oculus trouble shooting about the issue:
"When I try to watch my cable TV service on the Q2 either with the Oculus browser, or the Firefox VR browser it fails to work. When I use the Firefox VR browser I get a error code 9002.14007 when I try and view a program"
How Oculus support responded:
Thank you for contacting Oculus Support, My name is Aaron.
I know connection issues can be frustrating, I have a few troubleshooting steps for you to try to get you viewing tv on your headset.
Also to look further into the issue you are experiencing, can you provide the Logs you are seeing.
- Uninstall and reinstall the application
- Reset the headset
Thank you.

...not much help,
Question: If I were to download "Virtual Desktop"...could I run my cable provider app "Contour TV" on my desktop and watch it on my Q2??
Thx for all your input Drakulton, I hope all is well in the UK, I live in the state Rhode Island USA.
Geoff
That sounds like it would work. you may not even have to buy/download virtual desktop, as there's a desktop icon in the oculus PC dashboard. You could stream the PC contour app to your Q2 using air link depending on your router setup.
no, airlink on the Quest 2 menu somewhere
u just enable it on your oculus PC app, and in Quest 2 headset
So, no I can't stream from my Samsung phone??, I can only stream from my desktop computer??
Geoff
No, just the opposite, what I'm viewing on my phone/desktop I see on Q2. Q2's browser doesn't support my cable company's website to watch https://watchtv.cox.com/ so I figured that I could watch it on my phone/desktop and mirror it to Q2. I hope this clarifies the issue.
