I hope the deluxe strap + battery makes it more comfortable than the original. I think I must have spent over £100 on Quest accessories in an attempt to get it more comfortable. I've achieved that but it's a faff as I have to hook a battery pack on every time I play.

I won't tell you how I know but basically regarding 64gb vs 256gb

Dance Central - 3.83gb
Robo Recall - 3.27gb
Star Trek Bridge Crew - 2.32gb
Apex Construct - 823mb
Gun Club - 629mb
Superhot - 477mb
Beat Sabre with all DLC - 360mb

The vast majority of games are less than 1gb

VR Cover for Quest 2 mind you Facebook have their own official pack now.

I'll be ordering one of those. I just got the one for the original Quest and it's incredibly comfortable. I'll be giving the old Quest to my Wife to use for Beat Saber. One of the biggest faffs at the moment is having to take my lenses out and adjust the straps for her. If it's setup for her permanently she's more likely to use it.

Quick question, is there other cables other than the Oculus ones that work for the link? Seeing different information.

Thanks

Any good quality USB2 cable will work, though USB3 is preferred. The trouble with USB3 is you're limited in length unless you get a super expensive optical cable like the official link cable.

get an active USB3 extension plus a good quality type C attached which is quite cheap.

Surprisingly negative review on arstechnica though most of their complaints revolve around Facebook forcing the use of real accounts and the changes to the strap design.

They recommend getting the improved "elite" strap for an extra £50. Still for £350 it's going to be hard for any other company to compete at that price point. Especially given the hardware, standalone functionality and the Oculus ecosystem and games.

Probably still gonna get one though might wait until the rainforest store has them in stock as it's easy to abuse their returns policy if I have any fit/comfort issues!

I wonder how long it'll take cex to respond and adjust pricing after this announcement?

 You still get 14-day returns as with any distance sold product.

Got downgraded to B but wasnt gonna argue.

The guy said someone else came in immediately after me with the same lol.

Be interested to know if anyone struggles after tomorrow for future reference.

Put my order in and will drop off tomorrow, considering the Quest 2 is not out for another month they will probably hold the price for a while.
