Quest 2, Which WiFi6 Router?

What would be better?

TP-Link AX73 AX5400 or ASUS TUF Gaming AX5400 Router

I think the AX73 is but no sure.

The Asus Tuf Gaming AX5400 would be better if you intend to use it with Virtual desktop/Airlink. The TP-Link AX routers have a problem with disconnects and stutter when using the Quest 2 in PCVR.

That sucks. I know the cheaper ones stutter I was hoping the more expensive ones would be okay.

Nah, it's an issue through the entire line of TP Link AX routers. You might get one that works, but more than likely not.

Are you getting this router as a dedicated router for your Quest 2? Or for the home?

Yeah, just for VR, I guess I will stick with Asus brand to be safe lol.
Thank you.

If it's a dedicated router for the Quest 2, save yourself a few quid and buy the Asus RT-AX55. There will be no difference in your VR experience.

You could even get the Asus RT-AX53U for almost half the price of the AX5400 and there would be no difference.

Unless you are going to use the Router at a later date as your main house router, there is no point in spending the extra money.

Thanks, no it only be one VR device.
