Quest 3 owners etc

If mine fogs up I tend to wipe lenses with the cloth then it doesn't usually fog up a second time. Maybe it's warmed up by then.

How tight it is to your head might also matter.
 
Tend to get fog, usually can't be bothered to wipe so just play for 5 minutes and it's gone as the lenses warm.
 
Thanks for the tips. Been ok this afternoon, gonna try same time tonight and see how it fares in letting it run for a while.
 
I just managed to grab a quest 3 128gb used on vinted for just £98 - hopefully it's all good but I thought its worth the gamble at that price. I will finally be retiring my quest 1 - I might trade it at cex for something they still give you £80 in vouchers for them.

Does it come with controllers? That's insanely cheap for a working model.

Even without controllers you could buy some quest pro controllers to setup with, and you're still getting a cheap deal.

Edit looking at vinted I see a couple there for that price. One has a photo of a quest 2 box in one of the pictures. Very suspicious in my mind. Still, could be a bargain.

There is nobody selling a fully working Quest 3 for £98. Either the headset is going to be broken or it's a scam and you are going to get an empty box.
 
Can anyone recommend a decent facial interface replacement.
I was looking at the amvr one but I've got a narrow face and a lot of the reviews mention bad light bleed.
There doesn't seem many to choose from, the magnetic one also has bad reviews.
Has anyone changed theirs and can recommend one?

I have the AMVR one andi its really comfortable. If you need extra padding around the temples, sponge wedges are available

No, but those with a narrow face may get some if they also have issues with the default interfave. I put a few comparison inages in the accessories thread.

from what Ive read Bobo is at 13w vs Kiwi at 15w, and Kiwi is not making noise whilst retaining a form factor I can fit in the official case when not in use. Im willing to give it a punt. If it extends battery life by even an hour that's probably all I need. Either way I have no bias so will...
