Quest 3 owners etc

that MR game is a very good introduction as to what MR might allow, and I'm someone that didn't see the big deal about MR.

Sidequest etc works fine, installed a streaming media player using the android APK and all good.

Love the battery strength indicators superimposed on the controllers, nice thought.

One think that I can't figure is how to just have a black background when running some apps. When running the media streamer I installed, I either have to have passthru showing or the virtual environment showing. I can make the streamer screen bigger, but regardless I find having either of those two options distracting from watching the movie. Is there an option to make the virtual environment empty ?

Very impressed with my Quest 3 512gb I just love the fact there are no cables to worry about when using it, the unit seems pretty comfortable too.

I claimed the Asgard 2 game and also the 6 months free meta equivalent of game pass, I installed the Meta app on my pc & Asgard 1 appeared in my list of games, downloaded the game and have streamed it to my headset successfully using airlink.

Also I have purchased Skybox VR player which streams movies and Tv shows from my pc to the quest 3 without any lag or stuttering etc which will get a lot of use.

I have also got the elite strap with battery arriving today.

What is the name of the mixed reality game played around a table with little creatures that you can control and play with others, it was shown in the Quest 3 demos but cant seems to find it on the store ?

I swear when I'm looking straight ahead, I see a angled straight line going from centre too outside at about 35? 40? degrees. If I move my eyes to look at it, I get the shape of the lense, but whilst looking forward I swear it's a straight line. I've got the eye relief as close as possible, so it could be I'm seeing the edge I guess.

One of those things you notice when not doing anything, but effectively disappears when you're playing etc.

I had this on the Index with the eye relief at its closest settings, but it was really bad on Q2 with it's single panel. However not seen this on the Pro, but will look out for it on the Q3.

I didn't get it on the q2, but then I had the smallest IPD setting. Perhaps as I can't get the IPD setting quite as small as I need it, my pupils catch the edges a bit.

You know I never even considered going around things. I went all Rambo on it and shot most of the walls and furniture in my room to pieces. I shot through things :cry:
 
While I have the VR P10s plugged in is there a way so I can have the audio come out of the headset instead of them without having to remove the dongle? My girlfriend isn’t really in to the ear buds and prefers the speakers but I don’t want to have to remove it every time. Thanks
 
Can anyone recommend a good VR app/experience I can install? What I mean is, like the Felix & Paul Studio stuff. They make walkabouts videos such as with Nomads in Africa or watching the Cirque De Soleil or being in the White House with Barrack Obama, all at proper scale and it's just like you're actually there standing next to them. The Felix & Paul experiences are temporarily down but I really enjoy just looking around and being in different locations, more so than cartoony stuff. I can't find any others like those. Most of those other 360 videos like riding motorbikes across sand dunes or similar are low res and oversized (everyone looks gigantic) so not very realistic or immersive.

cant you just turn off BT in the settings or something ?
