Quest 3 owners etc

My replacement Quest 3 is with Royal Mail, will be here on or before Friday the 13th. Hope it's got no faults such as dead pixels like my 1st one.

Very strange, I tried the oculus cable and charger and same result, no charge.
Used the supplied cable into a USB a to c adapter and into the oculus charger and works fine.
Must be something strange with the oculus cable.
Haven't tried any other cables to see if a different USB c to c would work
 
in fact , what i will say , when i opended up my VD, and saw my desktop for the first time, i was actually taken back at how crisp and vibrate and clear it all looked! so much better than Q2 and Pico 4 is this respect, seeing that I knew this was going to be good, and i am not wrong, the clarity is much better than the others so far

i used my 10 ft Anker 20W cable (which i always used on VR headsets without issues)

Found out that the passthrough doesn't support full passthrough charging only slow so it will only work with a USB a to c cable.
No big deal just leave it charging for longer :)
I don't fancy taking the dongle out every time I want to charge

try turning the connector 180 degree
 
so I have the elite strap with battery, it’s at 62% charged. My headset it at 40%, the strap is plugged in and my headset is down to 18% and the strap battery is still at 62%. I unplugged the battery and plugged it in. It briefly comes up it’s connected and I can see the % of it. Then it disappears and I can just see the headset battery. Is something broken? Or am I doing something wrong?

I have either a stuck pixel or a speck of dust in the right eye.

It is a white fleck that is only visible on a light background. It doesn't look green like others have described, it's white. When over a dark background it's not visible.



Also playing flight sim yesterday, everything was working great. Tonight, juddering and crashes.

I've been having charging issues with various chargers, hopefully just a software bug.

Yea' I had a look on reddit and a fair few people seem to be having issues with the elite charger thing. I guess that would explain why I was having issues with the VR P10 USB dongle thing in my headset as well.
