Quit smoking. Vape good or bad.

Disgusting habbit. Just as bad as smoking imo.

Smoking turns your walls yellow, vaping turns your walls into slime. Both as bad as eachother, can only imagine what the inside of a vapers lungs look like

I find vaping disgusting, huge pumes of sickly sweet vapour, it screams "look at me, I am a *****" at least with fags it's a small amount of smoke, and find smokers are less inclined to want everyone to look at them.

At least the smell of vaping goes away, vapers don't bother me at all. On the other side I sat next to someone on the train the other day who must have just had a fag and the smell was pure filth. I gave up about 15 years ago and didn't mind the smell at all afterwards, but now that so few people seem to smoke and you can't in pubs etc. you really notice these days how disgusting someone smells after a cigarette.

My father smoked from the age of 7 until 70,when i got him to try vaping instead.
When he was smoking roll ups he would be coughing everyday, morning noon and night.
He is now 75 and has been vaping for past 5 years, his smokers cough stopped after a few months of vaping.
So i would say vaping is much safer than smoking.

Worked with someone who was practically a chain smoker and smoked any dodgy fake counterfeit heavy cigarettes she could get her hands on (I mean fake brand ones not duty free imports from Spain or anywhere like that). She eventually had to give up smoking due to health and started vaping. She died from popcorn lung brought on from the vaping.

You ought to let Cancer research know, unless of course your talking rubbish.

"Does vaping cause popcorn lung?

No. There’s no good evidence that e-cigarettes could cause the lung condition called popcorn lung. There’s been no cases of popcorn lung reported in people who use e-cigarettes."

It was probably helped along from the smoking too, especially the dodgy tabs she smoked. But her family and doctor (who I assume told the family) say it was from the vaping. So if anyone is talking rubbish it's them. I stopped working with her long before she died.

Deny it all you like but sucking on a big ***** with an "expansion tank" blowing out clouds of tutti fruitti just looks silly to me.

strange all this ..but better education will come thru .. there has been a lot of scare mongering ..I'm 52 been vaping for 7 yrs ..I started because of pains in my chest legs and arms .. I had smoked for 30 odd yrs .
I can now run again no more pains no more coughs and feel like I did when I was 30 ..
does vaping work yes ..is it harmful ? will it kill me ? all I know is I prob would have been dead by now on ciggys

Do you really believe vaping is much safer than smoking? Let's be condemned with ourselves, guys! If people want to vape, I say let them. If society is okay with alcohol and tobacco and marijuana being legal, it’s stupid to single out vaping specifically. I could suggest you mouth to lungs vape, it’s the closest one to the cigarettes. I’ve been smoking for 5 years when I found out that my lungs are working just 50% at the age of 30. At that moment I decided to quit smoking, using nicotine’s gums, at the first was ok, but after the desire to smoke a cigarette grew. My girlfriend seeing that I am struggling with this, suggested me trying best MTL vape to finally get rid of my addiction, since it was the closest one to normal smoking, I finally got rid of this problem

I haven't had a cig since I started vaping 6 months ago.

My sense of smell and taste has improved. My wife tells me I don't cough in the morning. My clothes don't smell of smoke.

I've reduced my covid death risk substantially and saved lots of money. Also don't smell of smoke

The study this was based on (Glantz et al, UCSF) has actually been officially retracted. Utterly false and misleading. AHA, ALA and a few other US orgs have been pummelling out the anti-vape rhetoric.
The medical/pharma fields in the US make an absolute killing from tobacco use. Vaping threatens to take away a lot of revenue and funding. That's before you factor in tobacco taxes and the spectre of MSA money for states.
The US has gone a bit crazy over this, with large orgs openly (provably) lying on the subject.

Mike Bloomberg has been funding a lot of it- $160m to Tobacco-Free Kids this year, to fight for flavour bans. He is the main investor in Hale... a 'medical' ecig... He also sends a lot of cash to the WHO, who recently published a pile of verifiable lies slandering vaping.

The whole situation is out of control.

Meanwhile, in the UK (seen as 'least open to tobacco industry influence') our NHS and gov recommend vaping as a means to quit smoking.

Our health system is not-for-profit, the US's is. Spot the difference.
