I won't be overclocking it (not for gaming anyway), so no worries about that.

If they're anything like my headset you can't hear anything when they're on, shame they're so uncomfortable

I have the QPAD QH-90 Pro and it's pretty nice.

As long as you have decent headphones that block out the noise and you're not anal about noise then its fire and forget as far as im concerned. My 7990 was much quieter than my 290P reference setup but when i game i have headphones so can't hear the noise so i stopped caring a long time ago. As long as its silent at idle/browsing/youtube (which it is) then im happy.

No DSR unfortunately, they're from a well known auction site

Corsair 1500s.
Really tight to my head (big head) and the 1500s come with a fabric ear cushion, so bought the 1300s to steal the leather/fake lather cushions lol. Makes it more bearable, but still can't have on my head very long (normally have them on one ear if i'm talking on skype)

On a test bench atm, no GPU installed and just the 3770k. Wont have my 290 blocked up till this weekend.
If the 4790k does alright chances are i'll drop some money on that + a second 290
