not impressed, took the day off to play it. Seems there is no stock at the stores too. Pirates have a better time and they can play it on-line. It's an outrage.

Its a bad layout in the Game Menu IMO.

You need go to the driving Options/Controls Menu, it defaults to Default Profile (Keyboard), you have to move it to Custom Profile (I use the Arrow keys), then press the CONTROL Key to allow you to Config this Custom Screen by highlighting the Control you want to edit and pressing ENTER or RETURN Keys and Pressing whatever Button on your Game Pad/Controler you want to assign to it.

Can't seem to get this working properly with my G25. Apparently it's some deep rooted problem related to the registry. I've had to set up a custom config in the game for the right pedal axes to work. Force Feedback doesn't work on both custom and default settings either, so at the moment if I play the wheel is as light as a feather... which isn't good obviously.

Any other G25 owners had any luck with getting it to work properly?

There is a post in this thread with a link to instructions on how to get the G25 to work properly. Mine now works perfectly with the demo, full game has been posted so should hopefully arrive tomorrow.

Same here, I used a utility to change the tracks to get variation.

I've tried that but the "Clear-Calibration" utility doesn't seem to change anything :confused:

My wheel is definately installed correctly... was playing a bit of LFS and rFactor fine last night.

Anyone tried playing this with the 360 force feedback wheel ? really tempted to get one as I loved the demo, best racing game in years.

Bizarrely my G25 worked fine straight off the bat! Not had a problem with it

Same here, LFS, GTL, GTR and GTR2 were all perfect, but Grid wasnt... Clear-Calibration did nothing, but following the reg-edit instructions worked perfectly.

Do you mind posting those reg-edit instructions (if you know them)? Because the sticky in the official Codemasters forum only mentions the clear-calibration method now...

I use the 360 pad but also have a r440 force feedback wheel. Not tried the wheel at all as the pad is perfect.

I was going to buy this until i spotted GTR evolution (Race 07 expansion) coming out on the 20th of june. Hopefully it will be as good as GTR, and GTR2 with even better graphics - just the game i was looking for since GTR2 has been near impossible to find at a decent price without going on the bay.

I will wait for reviews on the full game of GRID and wait for it to come down in price before i consider buying it.

Apparently CM messed up distibution. I have it from an inside source that Game stores have some PS3 copies, but no 360 or PC, as they havent been shipped by CM yet. They expect them in tomorrow morning. So if you have yours ordered from an online store it probubly wont even be shipped till tomorrow, which may mean not being delivered till Monday. If you have it from a proper shop it may or may not be available tomorrow...
