spec ford on summit point is so good, you can feel EVERYTHING through the force feedback.
For some of you struggling to get under a minute at Limerock, here's a quick replay of a 59.6 lap from me. I'm very rusty in this car, haven't driven it for a month or so and I'm still half a second off my 59.2 PB, but this should give you a rough idea of how to get under a minute. I'l post a Laguna lap in a while, my PB there is a 1:41.7, so I'l try and get close to that and post a replay.
Unkn0wn, the MX5 is full H shift and clutch, lots of fun though. Heel & toeing as very helpful at Laguna.

Had an interesting 1st ever open practise session last night. Got rammed off the circuit at one point and cars flying around all over the place, complete carnage.
Still managed to set my fastest time round Lime Rock @ 1:00.5
I can see that an actual race event is looking more like damage avoidance than clean racing
I just resubbed to iRacing. I have a DF GT, tried it late last year but didn't like it and GT5 come along. Going to give it another go.
I did find a lot of the game a bit overbearing and I never actually got to any racing? Anyone got any tips to get the best start in the game?
I got a logitech G27, I have played dirt 2 with it but its way to sensitive to use it on, any other suggestions?
Have you tried changing some of the wheel settings inside and outside of the game like the deadzone etc? Makes a huge difference in some games.
I can't speak for the G27 though, only have a DFGT myself.
